Candyland is an annual event that is organized by the Lake Ozark Rotary Club and promotes generosity during the Christmas season for underprivileged children in the Lake Area. The goal is to make sure that every child in the area would be able to unwrap a present on Christmas morning. According to the Lake Ozark Rotary website, the Candyland Event was founded in 1984 and to date has served over 10,000 local children.If you are interested in providing a gift for a local child in need, here are some details on how it works.
- Select a Candy Cane from our tree at Stonecrest Mall.
- Canes will be tied to a Card with the name of a local child in need.
- Purchase a gift/gifts ($65.00 to $75.00) or what you can afford.
- Return the gift/gifts with the Card to the Stonecrest Mall.
- Rotary Club will then wrap and deliver all gifts.
- Candy canes are also available at the Tri-County YMCA in Osage Beach.
When: Saturday, November 16th thru Friday, December 6th
Times: Mon-Fri, 2PM - 6PM, Sat, 11AM - 5PM, Sun, 12PM - 5PM
