1. Breakfast in Bed
It's not a new concept, but it'll always put a smile on your mom's face. Being able to sleep in and not have to cook your own breakfast is something most mother's rarely get to do. Show her how much you care about her with a nice breakfast in bed.
2. Coupon Book
Mom is always doing things for everyone else in the family, so now its your turn to do some things for her. Make a coupon book of things you're willing to do so she doesn't have to. For example, you could have a coupon good for doing a load of laundry, cooking dinner or babysitting your younger siblings. You could also include things like a movie night or spa day at home.
3. Foot Massage
After a long week of taking care of children, laundry, dishes, cooking and more, mom could use a little relaxation. A foot massage is an inexpensive way to show your mom how much you appreciate her and thank her for everything she does for you. You could even surprise her with a bottle of her favorite lotion.
4. Chocolate.
What mom doesn't love chocolate? You could go buy her some chocolates or better yet, make something at home. Make anything from chocolate cupcakes to Oreo truffles. It doesn't have to be anything extravagant, just a little treat she can enjoy that she doesn't have to make herself.
5. Flowers
Take an old mason jar or vase and spice it up with some paint, glitter, ribbons or whatever else you can find around the house. Then fill it with some beautiful fresh flowers. While mom will the love the flowers, she'll also have something to keep once they're gone.
6. Homemade Card
It's easy to go pick up a card off the shelf and sign it. However, nothing says "I love you" more than a homemade gift. Something as simple as a homemade card shows how much you care. It shows your mom that you put effort into making this Mother's Day an extra special day for her.
