Summerset Recognized as a 25+ Year Member of the Lake Area Chamber

Each Fall the Lake Area Chamber Members come together for an annual meeting and dinner celebration. This event is just one of the many great social and networking events you can attend as a member.  Many awards are given to members throughout the night for various accomplishments. Summerset Inn Resort was one of the members receiving an award last week at this year's dinner!

25+ Year Member Award 

 
Dave and Kathy Brooks have been a members of the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce for 32 years now! Their children, Brian and Angie Schuster who help run the business, are following in their footsteps and are also very involved in the Chamber.  In fact, Angie Schuster was just elected to the Chamber Board this year!

Lake of the Ozarks is well-known as one of the premier vacation and second home destinations in the Midwest with boating, lodging, golfing, great entertainment and restaurants that feature the best sunsets…which is how it all started for Summerset.  In the 1970s, our family traveled to the Lake most weekends to relax, joining family and friends by the Lake to watch the amazing Summer sunsets!  We liked it here so much that we purchased property and started building our Lake of the Ozarks resort in 1971.  We expanded our business in 1982, by opening our second venue, Summerset Boat Lifts.
