Versailles Unity Circle Of Lights

Versailles City Park

The city of Versailles will light up its city park for the Unity Circle of Lights from Nov. 26 - Jan. 1. The holiday light park is named after the "Unity Circle," a monument erected at the park entrance to show cooperation among various entities in the community. The Unity Circle of Lights is located at the junction of Highways 5 and 52 and will feature as many as 40 lighted displays, including several animated holiday scenes for the family. The park is open from dark until midnight and admission is free.


Enchanted Village of Lights

The City of Laurie presents the Enchanted Village of Lights at the Laurie Fairgrounds. The Enchanted Village of Lights is one of the largest drive-through holiday light parks in Mid-Missouri. There is no charge to drive through the Enchanted Village, but any donations are greatly appreciated.

The annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals is a unique show for all makes, models, and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles. The show celebrated its 30th year in 2018 with phenomenal weather, 1,000 participants and close to 10,000 spectators. Located in Central Missouri, we bring 30 years of show experience to the historic Bagnell Dam Strip at the Lake of the Ozarks. The strip is closed to normal traffic during show hours, so we only have show vehicles within the boundaries. This creates and absolutely electric atmosphere! Some say it's like being on the set of "American Graffiti".

We're Anxious to Kick Off the 2020 Season!

Our family-friendly resort at the Lake of the Ozarks is excited to get rolling for our 2020 season. As many of us have been cooped up, we are sure you're ready to get out and enjoy the beautiful area, as well. The Lake of the Ozarks offers a ton of fun things to do with your family, while practicing social distancing. Here at Summerset Inn, we're going to point out some of those fun distant activities to help inspire your Lake of the Ozarks vacation planning.

Our resort is sticking with the Governor’s recommendations and waiting until May 4th to open at this point in time. We are constantly evaluating the situation and taking it one day at a time. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed as new decisions are made. Thanks for bearing with us as we navigate through this time! We can’t wait until we can all safely gather and see our guests again!

Go for a Hike

There are many hiking trails around the Lake of the Ozarks. Some of the most breathtaking views can be found roaming through the Ozark hills. Get out and explore at one of our local state parks with numerous different trails to navigate through. 

Take a Boat Ride

The lake is one of the biggest draws for our guests. The waterfront view from our complex may have you itching to get out on the water. There are many boat rental companies near our resort and we even have a few slips available, if you have your own boat you'd like to store while staying with us. Spending quality time out on the water is a fun way to keep your distance while feeling a sense of a normal summer day! 

Hit the Golf Course

Golfing is a great activity to be distant from others and have a blast! Hit the links at one of the many area golf courses during your visit. It's a fantastic way to enjoy the great outdoors and stay entertained at the same time!

Order Take Out

There are many area restaurants offering to-go menu options and a few are starting to open back up for dine-in options. You can easily grab your favorite bite and head out to a great secluded spot to enjoy your tasty meal with your crew while staying socially distant from others!

Fishing is a fun activity for many. Whether you're fishing on the shore or from a boat, it's a great way to spend time with your family and staying entertained. Don't forget to get a fishing license for Missouri before you start casting a line!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: We're Gearing Up for Opening in Mid-April

Can you believe we're already gearing up for our 2020 season at Summerset Inn Resort & Villas?! We're thrilled as we kick off what's going to be another amazing season at our family-friendly resort at the Lake of the Ozarks. Our team is working hard to get our property ready for some of our favorite people to come to visit this spring and summer. We plan on being open by April 15th, if not a little before then! If you haven't started planning your spring vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks, now's your sign that it is time! Check out some of the exciting accommodations we have available when you book your stay with Summerset Inn:


Single Apartment

Our single apartment sleeps 4 people and features 2 queen beds, a kitchenette and a bath with a shower. Please note that this unit is not waterfront.

Deluxe Cottage

Our deluxe cottage sleeps up to 6 people, and features two private bedrooms each with a queen bed. This unit also offers a hide-a-bed, a kitchenette and a bath with shower. Please note that this unit is also not waterfront.

Economy Apartment 

Our economy apartments each sleep a maximum of 6 people. They offer two small bedrooms, each with double beds. You'll also enjoy a hide-a-bed, a kitchenette and a bath with a shower. There are 3 of these apartments available.


Deluxe Apartment

Each of our deluxe apartments sleep up to 6 people and feature 2 large private bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. The apartments also come with a hide-a-bed, a kitchenette and a bath/shower combo with two vanities. There are 3 of these units available.

2 BR, 2 BA Apartment

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment sleeps a maximum of 5 people. This lakeside king apartment features a bathroom and kitchenette, plus a bonus bedroom with a double bed and a 2nd bath. There is also a hide-a-bed in this unit.

Family Apartment 

Our family apartments sleep up to 8 people. Each one features 2 bedrooms, a daybed adjacent to the living room and a hide-a-bed. You'll also enjoy a kitchenette and a bath with a shower. There are 8 of these units available.

Villa Cottage 

This cottage style room sleeps up to 6 people and features 2 private bedrooms, each with a king bed. The unit also features a hide-a-bed, a kitchenette, a fireplace, and two bathrooms, with a whirlpool tub in the master.


Captain's Quarters

The Captain's Quarters will sleep up to 10 people and features 5 bedrooms and 3 baths! Inside you'll find 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and 2 double beds. The kitchen offers garbage disposal, dishwasher, and microwave.
