Our family-friendly resort at the Lake of the Ozarks is excited to get rolling for our 2020 season. As many of us have been cooped up, we are sure you're ready to get out and enjoy the beautiful area, as well. The Lake of the Ozarks offers a ton of fun things to do with your family, while practicing social distancing. Here at Summerset Inn, we're going to point out some of those fun distant activities to help inspire your Lake of the Ozarks vacation planning.
Our resort is sticking with the Governor’s recommendations and waiting until May 4th to open at this point in time. We are constantly evaluating the situation and taking it one day at a time. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed as new decisions are made. Thanks for bearing with us as we navigate through this time! We can’t wait until we can all safely gather and see our guests again!

Go for a Hike
There are many hiking trails around the Lake of the Ozarks. Some of the most breathtaking views can be found roaming through the Ozark hills. Get out and explore at one of our local state parks with numerous different trails to navigate through.
Take a Boat Ride
The lake is one of the biggest draws for our guests. The waterfront view from our complex may have you itching to get out on the water. There are many boat rental companies near our resort and we even have a few slips available, if you have your own boat you'd like to store while staying with us. Spending quality time out on the water is a fun way to keep your distance while feeling a sense of a normal summer day!
Hit the Golf Course
Golfing is a great activity to be distant from others and have a blast! Hit the links at one of the many area golf courses during your visit. It's a fantastic way to enjoy the great outdoors and stay entertained at the same time!
Order Take Out
There are many area restaurants offering to-go menu options and a few are starting to open back up for dine-in options. You can easily grab your favorite bite and head out to a great secluded spot to enjoy your tasty meal with your crew while staying socially distant from others!

Go Fishing
Fishing is a fun activity for many. Whether you're fishing on the shore or from a boat, it's a great way to spend time with your family and staying entertained. Don't forget to get a fishing license for Missouri before you start casting a line!
