Captain Ron's
The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, held at Captain Ron's Bar & Grill and the 33MM-34.5MM, will bring top powerboat racers and off shore racing power boats from across the country, topping 200 MPH. The largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest with over 100 racers and 100,000 spectators. Proceeds will benefit the Lake Area Rescue Teams, and other charitable organizations!

Family-Friendly Activities Only Minutes Away From Our Resort

The dog days of summer are here and the lake is filled with fun things to do. Come visit us at Summerset Inn located at the Lake of the Ozarks for fun family-friendly activities both on site and in the surrounding area. For a relaxing day, cool off in our lakeside pool or hang out on our patio that’s complete with BBQ grills. Shopping

If you’re looking to get out of the sun for a bit, go shopping for the day! Located only four minutes from the resort, The Landing on Main Street is a great place to check out. Complete with clothing boutiques, home décor shops, a candy shop, restaurants and a music hall, there’s something for everyone here. This isn’t the only shopping in the area though. The lake is filled with great places to shop. Also, make sure to check out Osage Beach Outlet Marketplace which offers over 80 shops. A visit to the lake wouldn’t be complete without a stroll down the Bagnell Dam Strip. This is the place to go if you’re looking for a souvenir to remember your time spent at the lake.

Dining

Whatever type of food you’re craving, the Lake of the Ozarks has it. Italian, Mexican, Seafood, American, Cajun, Asian, you name it, we have it! The lake offers a unique dining experience because you can either eat on land (with many restaurants boasting a view of the lake) or you can visit a lakeside restaurant. Summerset Inn is located on the 19-mile marker and provides 20 to 40-foot boat slips if you would like to bring your boat on vacation with you to check out some of the lakeside restaurants. If you’ve saved room for dessert, there are some yummy ice cream spots only a couple minutes away from the resort.

Mini Golfing

If you’re looking for a little more of a relaxing night, consider hitting the green (the mini golf green that is). Tucked into the hills of the lake, the mini golf courses offer fun themed adventure with a wide variety of golf holes. Some of these themes include: pirate, Western and safari. Adults—if you’re looking to hit the actual green, there are eight golf courses within 15 minutes of the resort.

Go Karting

Ready, set, go! For a little friendly competition, check out one of the many go kart tracks at the Lake of the Ozarks. There are both indoor and outdoor tracks only minutes away from us. With many of the tracks offering both single and double karts, there’s an option for every age.
